Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:107350 Court No. - 50 Case :- WRIT - B No. - 2262 of 2025 Petitioner :- Ram Ujagir And 6 Others Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. The petitioners have impugned a show cause notice issued by the Consolidation Officer under Section 9-A 2 of the U.P. C.H. Act. The writ petition is pre-mature. Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed an objection before the competent authority and the same may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Learned Standing Counsel submits that all the objections under Section 9-A 2 of the U.P. C.H. Act are liable to be decided within reasonable period of time. In wake of the preceding discussions, the Consolidation Officer, Jaunpur is directed to decide the proceedings under Section 9-A 2 of the U.P. C.H. Act by a reasoned order as per law within a reasonable period of time from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. Since the proceedings have just been initiated, it will not be appropriate to fix a rigid time line. However interest of justice will be served by directing the Consolidation Officer to proceed expeditiously as per law. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
