Ahmed, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr. K. Baishya, the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam. Page No.# 2/2 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for granting regular bail to the petitioner namely, Yuvraj Pulami in respect of Paltanbazar P.S. Case No.04/2025, registered under Section 85 of the BNS, 2023. 3. The father-in-law has lodged an FIR against the present petitioner stating that he had assaulted his daughter, causing injuries to her. 4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already spent 29 days in judicial custody and the couple has two minor sons. According to the learned counsel, it was a dispute between the husband and the wife and there is a possibility that the dispute between them shall be solved by themselves. Learned counsel submits that long period of incarceration may cause further problems in the domestic life of the couple. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 6. It is a dispute between a young couple having two minor children. Thus, this Court is of the opinion that long incarceration of the petitioner might cause problems in the domestic life of the petitioner. 7. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody for any further period of time. His bail application is allowed. 8. The petitioner Yuvraj Pulami who was arrested in respect of Paltanbazar P.S. Case No.04/2025, registered under Section 85 of the BNS, 2023, shall be allowed to go on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M), Guwahati. With the above direction, the bail application is disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
