1 | P a g e IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK W.P.(C). No. 37228 of 2025 Snehalata Nayak `…. Petitioner Represented by Mr. S.K.Das, Advocate -Versus - Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Berhampur & Ors …. Opposite Parties Represented by Mr. S.N.Pattnaik, AGA CORAM: JUSTICE SASHIKANTA MISHRA ORDER_ 08.01.2026 W.P.(C). No. 37228 of 2025 and I.A. No. 23051 of 2025 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. 2. The petitioner, being aggrieved by the order of disengagement passed by the Sub-Collector, Gunupur has preferred an appeal before the ADM which came to be dismissed. She thereafter has filed a Second Appeal before the RDC, Berhampur. Her grievance is, the appeal has not yet been taken up for hearing despite being registered. In the meantime, an advertisement has been issued 02.12.2025 for filling up of the post of Anganwadi Worker, Tarbel- 2 Anganwadi Centre. She therefore, prays that the said advertisement in so far as it relates to the Anganwadi Centre in question be kept in abeyance. 3. Since the petitioner has already approached the second Order No. 03. 2 | P a g e appellate authority by filing a regular appeal, she should move the said authority seeking necessary interim relief by filling appropriate application. 4. The writ application is therefore, disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate application seeking appropriate interim relief, if so advised, within ten days from today. If such application is filed, the second appellate authority shall first consider the same and pass appropriate orders regarding the interim relief and thereafter proceed to hear the appeal on merits. Till consideration of the application for interim application relief to be filed by the petitioner, operation of the advertisement dated 02.12.2025, only in so far as it relates to Tarbel-2, shall remain stayed.
