Mr. A.H.Kharwanlang, learned Addl. Sr. GA for the respondents No. 1-3 today has produced a set of letters indicating the fact that the writ petitioners had approached the forest authorities since last year with regard to the same subject matter and action has been taken by the Divisional Forest Officer in this regard. 2. From the documents produced, it is seen that the Divisional Forest Officer has instructed regular patrolling duties It is also mentioned by the learned Addl. Sr. GA that there are orders operating passed by the Division Bench of this Court in PIL. No. 2 of 2024, dated 09-04-2025 in the matter of tree felling to which the petitioner can take recourse to. 2025:MLHC:301 3 3. Accordingly, in view of these circumstances, this matter stands closed and disposed of at this stage with liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the forest authorities.
