Re: CRAN 2 of 2025 (an application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act) Learned advocate for the State is present. Learned advocate appearing for the appellant/applicant submits that there has been delay of 17 days in preferring the appeal. On perusal of the application for condonation of delay, it has been found that grounds so assigned in the application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act are found to be just and sufficient. Accordingly, delay in preferring the appeal is condoned. The application for condonation of delay being CRAN 2 of 2025 is allowed. Re: C.R.A. (SB) 29 of 2025 (An Application under Section 374(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 415(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.) The appeal is admitted. Issue usual notices. Call for Trial Court Records. 2 Department is directed to prepare requisite number of paper books immediately after receipt of the Trial Court Records. The order dated 17.02.2026 reflects that there was a direction by the Hon’ble Division Bench that after admission, this appeal be tagged along with the other appeals being DR 4 of 2024 and CRA (DB) 4 of 2025.
