The petitioner is a granddaughter of late Shri Lallu Dayal who has fair price shop license and died on 08.11.2024. After his death though the son of the deceased (Shri Lallu Lal) namely Shri Bhunesh Kumar submitted his application dated 18.12.2024 for allotment of the aforesaid fair price shop in his favour but subsequently declined. No other family members are came forward for allotment of the aforesaid fair price shop. 2. In this view of the matter, the petitioner being granddaughter submitted an application for allotment of the aforesaid fair price shop in her favour before the Respondent No. 3/District Supply Officer, Pilibhit on 22.05.2025, copy of the same is appended as Annexure-3 to the writ petition. 3. The only prayer has been made by Shri Anand Mohan Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the Respondent No. 2 to pass appropriate order on the aforesaid application. 4. On the other hand, it is argued by the learned Standing Counsel that as per clause (v) (7) of the Government Order dated August 5, 2019, disposal of the entire case is provided within two months from the receipt of the application. 5. Heard counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 3 as well as Shri S.B. Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent No.4. 6. In the facts and circumstances of the case and also in the interest of justice, the present writ petition is disposed of finally directing the Respondent No. 2/ Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bisalpur, District- Pilibhit to pass appropriate order on the aforesaid application within a period of two months after providing an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, unless there is no legal impediment.
