A report dated November 13, 2025, of the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal, has been filed today in Court. The same is taken on record. According to the same, it appears that the State Transport Authority, West Bengal has though held meetings, but has not taken any decision as regards grant of offer letters/permit to the writ petitioner, as yet. Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the applicant raises strong objection as to the same, stating the alleged inaction of the authority to be only a dilatory tactic and intentional disobedience of the order of this Court. 2 According to the report of the Secretary as above, the alleged contemnor is contemplating to move an appeal before the Division Bench of this Court. Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate for the said purpose seeks accommodation today. On his requests, the matter is adjourned today. Let this matter appear in the monthly list of December, 2025.
