It is submitted that ever since, petitioner's family has been in continuous possession and enjoyment of the above mentioned property. 4.It is submitted that petitioner earlier filed a writ petition in W.P.No.7730 of 2025, sought for a direction to the second respondent to measure and fix boundary by laying corner stone. It is submitted that petitioner submitted several representations to the respondents viz., 07.11.2024, 20.01.2025 and 26.03.2025 and also preferred an appeal before the respondents seeking issuance of patta. However, the above representations as well as appeal has not been considered by the respondents till date. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed. 7.At the outset, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents would submit that they would consider and dispose of the appeal dated 17.04.2025 in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 8.In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner 4/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.21245 of 2025 dated 17.04.2025, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and any other interested parties/rival claimants, if any, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the appeal and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law.
