2025:KER:27976 W.P.(C)No.13560 of 2025 3 JUDGMENT The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the fact that the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is not being issued to him by respondents 3 to 5. The petitioner requires a PCC for the purpose of securing a job in Kuwait. 2. The learned Government Pleader submits and rightly so that where the certificate is required in connection with a job abroad, the PCC is issued by the 1st respondent and the petitioner has to make an application before the 1st respondent for issuing of PCC. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will approach the 1st respondent with a proper application for PCC (if not already submitted) and the same may be directed to be considered in the light of Ext.P4 No Objection Certificate issued by the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Ambalappuzha and Ext.P5 order granting exemption from appearance to the petitioner and permitting him to go abroad.
2025:KER:27976 W.P.(C)No.13560 of 2025 4 Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, in considering the limited nature of reliefs sought for by the petitioner, the writ petition will stand disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to issue a customized Police Clearance Certificate to the petitioner, mentioning the details of the criminal cases registered against him and taking into account Ext.P4 No Objection Certificate and Ext.P5 permission granted by the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Ambalappuzha. The needful shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Sd/-
