2025:JHHC:13048 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI
A.B.A. No. 2594 of 2025
----- Akash @ Akash Kumar Jha, S/o Bal Krishna Jha, R/o Holding No.93, Ward No.7, Parmeshwar Dayal Road, Deoghar, P.O. & P.S. Deoghar, District Deoghar
.... Petitioner(s).
Versus The State of Jharkhand
… Opp. Party(s).
------
CORAM :
SRI ANANDA SEN, J.
------ For the Petitioner(s) : Ms. Moushmi Chatterjee, Advocate For the State : Mr. Saket Kumar, AddI.P.P.
…...... 05/ 01.05.2025: Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2.
This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 and 484 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 apprehending his arrest for the offences under Sections 364/302 of IPC.
3.
The anticipatory bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected. From the argument of the petitioner, I find that no fresh ground has been urged in the instant anticipatory bail application.
4.
Considering the aforesaid fact, I find that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner in connection with Jugsalai P.S. Case No.92 of 2020, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur, stands rejected.
