For the petitioner : Ms. Anuja Mehta, Advocate, vice Mr. Vishwa Bhushan, Advocate. For the respondents : Mr. Rahul Thakur, Deputy Advocate General. Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Compliance affidavit stands filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed to the compliance affidavit and stated that arrears that have been worked out are being paid in lump sum.
2. This Court is of the considered view that taking into consideration the amount involved, it is injustice with the respondents to pay this meagre amount also in installments.
3. Accordingly, these contempt proceedings are closed, with the direction that let the balance amount payable to the petitioner be paid to her in lump sum within a period of eight weeks from today. In case, needful is not done within the said period, then the petitioner shall be at liberty to revive the proceedings. Notices stand discharged.
