This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicant for impleading Sri Narayan Konwar, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Education (Higher) Department, Sachivalaya as contemnor No. 2 in the connected Cont.Cas(C) No. 484/2019. 3. Ms. Borah, learned counsel for the applicants submits that the earlier Secretary, namely, Sri Naren Prasad Sarma has retired from service upon superannuation and in his place, Sri Narayan Konwar is appointed as Secretary to the Government of Assam, Education (Higher) Department, Sachivalaya, and as such, there is a requirement of impleading Sri Narayan Konwar as contemnor No. 2 in the connected Cont.Cas(C) No. 484/2019. 4. Taking note of the submissions of learned Advocates of both sides, and also the facts and circumstances on the record, this interlocutory application stands allowed. Accordingly, Sri Narayan Konwar shall be impleaded as contemnor No. 2 in the connected Cont.Cas(C) No. 484/2019. 5. In terms of above, this interlocutory application stands disposed of.
