In pursuance to the Advertisement No. SR/01/2023. The driving licence of the candidate should be valid atleast one year before the date of advertisement, i.e., 20.12.2023, or a valid light motor driving licence issued atleast two years before the date of advertisement. The relevant portion of the eligibility criteria is extracted hereunder: “Driving License for Junior Assistant (Fire Service) (Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License; OR Valid Medium Vehicle Driving License issued at least one year before the date of Advertisement i.e. 20/12/2023; OR Valid Light Motor Vehicle Driving License issued at least two years before the date of Advertisement i.e. 20/12/2023;” 2. The petitioner did not have a valid driving licence for Junior Assistant (Fire Services) one year before the date of the advertisement of valid or a licence for Light Motor Vehicles Driving Licence issued atleast two years prior to the advertisement. As the petitioner does not make the WP(C)No.13576 of 2025 4 2025:KER:29415 eligibility criteria, his application has not been considered. Once the petitioner admittedly does not fulfil the eligibility criteria, this Court cannot come to the rescue of the petitioner and allow him to participate in the selection process. Therefore, I find no substance in this writ petition, and the same is hereby dismissed. Sd/- D. K.
