JUSTICE RAJESH SHANKAR ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Pankaj Srivastava, Advocate For the Housing Board : Mrs. Surabhi, AC to Mr. Sachin Kumar, Advocate ----- 02/11.03.2025 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the letter as contained in memo no. 237/A dated 13.03.2024 (Annexure-2 to the writ petition) issued under the signature of the respondent no. 3 – the Estate Officer, Jharkhand State Housing Board, Harmu Housing Colony, Harmu, Ranchi, whereby the respondent-Jharkhand State Housing Board amended/changed the terms and conditions of allotment as contained in memo no. 1889 dated 21.09.2011 and directed the petitioner to pay Rs.47,50,884/- by imposing huge interest. Further prayer has been made for issuance of direction upon the respondents not to charge compound interest over the actual allotment for which payment has already been made in the year 2011 itself. The petitioner has also prayed for issuance of direction upon the respondents to expeditiously complete the allotment procedure and hand over the possession of the allotted flat to her. 2. It is jointly submitted by learned counsel for the 2 W.P.(C). No. 1243 of 2025 petitioner and the Jharkhand State Housing Board that the issue raised in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the order/judgment dated 23.08.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No. 4790/2023 [Vijay Shankar Jha Vs. the State of Jharkhand & Ors.] and other analogous cases. Hence, the present writ petition may be disposed of in terms with the aforesaid order/judgment. 3. Considering the said submission of learned counsel for the petitioner and the Jharkhand State Housing Board, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms with the order/judgement dated 23.08.2024 particularly paragraph nos. 20, 21 & 22 of the same.
