The petitioner is working as a Naib Tehsildar (Registration). He prays for pre-arrest bail in FIR No. 10 dated 03.04.2025 under Sections 7 and 7-A of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 and Section 61(2), 125, 221, and 281 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2. In substance, the allegations against the petitioner are that he was illegally extracting money which constitutes bribe from the persons who were coming for registration of their deeds through Rajiv Malhotra @ Yash Malhotra, a deed writer. There is a call recording to this effect. Moreover, when the police party tried to apprehend the petitioner, he pushed the police party and ran away from his office. He also tried to hit the officials of the police party while escaping in his vehicle bearing No. HR-60M-3636, make and modal Skoda Slavia. 3. Hence, no ground is made out to grant concession of pre-arrest bail. 4. The petition is dismissed.
