The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Shikaripara P.S. Case No. 52 of 2024, corresponding to POCSO Case No.34 of 2024, for the offences registered under Section 376(D) of the I.P.C. and Sections 4 & 6 of the POCSO Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-1-cum-special Judge (POCSO Act), Dumka. On 11.06.2024, at about 10:00 p.m., the petitioner along with co- accused persons are alleged to have gangraped the prosecutrix. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner was identified by the victim in T.I. Parade.
