The petitioners have filed the instant petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973) seeking quashing of FIR No.135 dated 22.11.2023 registered under Sections 363 & 366-A of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Kathunangal, District Amritsar Rural (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise dated 24.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties. 2. On receipt of advance copy of the petition, Mr. Anup Singh, A.A.G., Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.1-State and on instructions from ASI Rajinderpal Singh, submits that petitioners No.1, 4 & 5 are not on bail and are at large. He further submits that although, the complainant has been impleaded as respondent No.2, however, the victim has not been made party and the present petition is not maintainable. 3. On the last date of hearing i.e. 01.07.2025, no one was appeared on behalf of the petitioners and even today also the position is the same. 4.
