Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Sushma Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of NHAI and Sri Rajiv Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State - respondents. 2. The petitioner has assailed notices dated 23.05.2023 and 12.11.2024 issued by respondent no. 2 for recovery of alleged excess amount paid as compensation to the petitioner. The case of the petitioner is that he has filed objection against the impugned notices but the same has not been decided and the respondents are insisting upon recovery of the amount as arrears of land revenue. 3. As objections have already been filed by the petitioner against the impugned notices, therefore, we dispose of the instant petition with direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the objections dated 18.05.2024 and 25.04.2025 within four weeks from today and not to take any coercive measure against the petitioner till the same are decided. 4. Sri Rajiv Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, undertakes to communicate the instant order to respondent no. 2 within a week. The petitioner will also communicate the instant order to respondent no. 2 within same period, failing which the protection granted to the petitioner by the instant order would be of no avail.
