Case No. 247 of 2024, M.C.A. No.1083 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 74, 75 & 76 of B.N.S. and Section 8 of POCSO Act, pending in the court of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge- I, Godda. On 19.10.2024 at about 11:00 a.m, the petitioner is alleged to have entered into the house of the informant and attempted to rape his daughter, aged about 17 years old. Petitioner was apprehended by the family members of the informant, but his father and several persons came there and rescued him. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
