Side) https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 16937 of 2025 ORDER The petitioner, apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Section 4(3) of Tamil Nadu Gaming and Police Laws Act 1930 (Amendment 2021) read with Section 318(4) of BNS (420 of IPC) in Crime No.143 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2. The case of the prosecution is that on 24.05.2025 the petitioner and other accused were involved in selling lottery tickets at a shop in Vellore Mullipalayam. The defacto complainant purchased a lottery ticket from A1 but did not receive any prize money, leading to filing of a complaint against the petitioner. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Now, petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, the learned counsel prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 16937 of 2025 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution's case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. 6.
