The learned advocate appearing for the added respondent/requiring body submits that the copy of the amended writ petition has not been served upon the added respondent. Such submission is disputed by Mr. Basu, learned advocate for the petitioner. He draws the attention of the Court to the order dated August 8, 2025, wherein it has been recorded that the amended copy of the writ petition has been served upon the added respondent. However, in
order to avoid any further controversy with regard to such issue, the learned advocate on record of the petitioner is
3
directed to serve the copy of the amended writ petition upon the learned advocate for the added respondent by tomorrow (07/01/2006). Mr. De, learned Additional Government Pleader prays for extension of time to file the affidavit-in- opposition to the amended writ petition. Let the affidavit-in-opposition to the amended writ petition be filed by the State respondents as well as the added respondent on or before January 27, 2026; reply thereto, if any, be filed on or before February 13, 2026. The time to file the affidavit-in-opposition is extended as a last chance. List this matter under the heading “Hearing” in the monthly list of March, 2026.
