[2] This present contempt petition has been filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India, for drawing up contempt proceedings, against the Respondent- Contemnor, for his willful and deliberate violation of the directions, contained in the Order dated 09.01.2025 passed by the Learned Single Judge of this Court in WP(C) No. 832 of 2024. [3] When the case is called, Mr. D. Sarma, learned Addl. G.A. appearing for the respondent-contemnor submits before this Court that a notice/summons dated 16.04.2025 has been issued calling for appearance of the petitioner on 30th April 2025 in the office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Belonia, South Tripura, for deciding the matter in accordance with law. [4] In the light of the submission made by the learned Addl. G.A, it is presumed that the petitioner would appear before the respondent- contemnor on the above mentioned date. It is made clear that both parties shall cooperate with the proceeding and the matter would be decided as expeditiously as possible. [5] Accordingly, the present Contempt Petition is closed.
