Respondents BEFORE HON'BLE MR. JUSTI CE AHANTHEM BI MOL SI NGH 05.05.2025 Mr. K. Roshan, learned counsel, appeared for the petitioners; and Mr. M. Rarry, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. A.C. Themreichand, learned counsel, appeared for the respondents. It has been submitted at the Bar that the present writ petition has been filed assailing the seniority list and that during the pendency of this writ petition all the petitioners as well as the private respondents who are the litigating parties in the present writ petition have retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. The learned counsel, accordingly, submitted that as the litigating parties have retired from service, no cause survives for adjudication and the matter can be closed as infructuous. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is hereby closed as infructuous.
