BOSE ROAD, CHENNAI. …RESPONDENTS THIS MISCELLANEOUS FIRST APPEAL IS FILED UNDER SECTION 30 OF THE WORKMEN’S COMPENSATION ACT, AGAINST THE JUDGMENT AND ORDER DATED 30/11/2011, PASSED IN WCA/NF NO.139/2010 ON THE FILE OF THE LABOUR OFFICER AND COMMISSIONER FOR WORKMEN’S COMPENSATION, HAVERI DISTRICT HAVERI, PARTLY ALLOWING THE CLAIM PETITION FOR COMPENSATION AND SEEKING ENHANCEMENT OF COMPENSATION. THE APPEAL BEING REFERRED TO LOK ADALAT, COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION, THIS DAY, THE LOK ADALAT PASSED THE FOLLOWING: 3 CONCILIATION ORDER Learned counsel for appellant/claimant has appeared before the Lok-Adalath and filed the memo for withdrawal, which reads as under : “MEMO FOR WITHDRAWAL “Appellant respectfully submits as under, It is submitted the Appellant has filed the above against the judgment and award passed by the Ld. Labour Officer and Commissioner for Workmen Compensation Haveri in WCF/NF/ 139/2010 SO for it relates lesser compensation is concerned]. It is submitted that the insurance Co. has also filed the MFA No. 22125/2012 challenging the liability and quantum. It is submitted that in view of the settlement arrived in MFA No. 22125/2012, the appellant wants to withdraw the above appeal. The respondent No.2 has agreed to deposit interest from date of accident till deposit before the trail court. Therefore it is respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to permit 4 the Appellant to withdraw the above appeal in the interest of justice and equity.” 2.
