Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents. Petitioner claims to have purchased vehicle bearing Registration No. U.P. 77-AN-5107 after the vehicle was repossessed by the financer i.e. respondent no.4. An application has been moved before the Regional Transport Officer for registering the name of the petitioner over the vehicle in question. Grievance is that despite expiry of sufficient period no decision is being taken in the matter. Sri Rahul Chaudhary, learned counsel for the financer-company has no objection to the prayer made in the writ. In that view of the matter, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition with a direction upon respondent no.3 to pass appropriate order on the pending application of the petitioner for registering his name, in accordance with law. In the event, an objection is filed by the previous owner or his/her representative/heir to such application the same shall also be accorded consideration.
