Ms. Medha Pande, learned counsel for respondent nos. 4, 5, 6 and 7. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JUDGMENT: (per Hon’ble Justice Sri Alok Mahra) Petitioner no. 1 accompanied with S.I. Surbhi Rana, Police Station - Ramnagar is present through video conferencing. Petitioner no. 1 submits that she is five weeks’ pregnant, therefore, she could not appear before this Court physically. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no. 2 is attending some judicial hearing in Kashipur Court and, for that reason, he is not present in person today. 3. Respondent nos. 4, 5 6 and 7, who are father, 1 2025:UHC:7156-DB brothers and uncle of petitioner no. 1 respectively, are also present in Court alongwith mother of petitioner no. 1. They submit that they will not cause any harm to the life and limb of the petitioners and, to the contrary, respondent no. 4 submitted that since petitioner no. 2 has a criminal history, they are apprehending threat at the hands of petitioner no. 2. 4. Since both the petitioners are major and have decided to marry each other on their own sweet will, therefore, the writ petition stands disposed of.
