The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with a prayer to grant anticipatory bail to him in case FIR No.46 dated 10.05.2025, registered under Section 118(1) of BNS, 2023 (Section 118(2) of BNS added later on), at Police Station Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that a property dispute is pending between the petitioner and the complainant, who are both real brothers and the parties have already availed their remedies before the Civil Court. He further contends that vide order dated 29.05.2025 passed by a co- ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner was directed to appear before the Investigating Officer and to join the investigation. 3. In compliance of interim order dated 29.05.2025 passed by a Co- ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. 4. Learned State counsel has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for further investigation. 5. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant has vehemently opposed the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 6. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is allowed and the interim order dated 29.05.2025, passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. 7.
