---- 18/10.01.2025 Based on the undertaking in the counter affidavit filed in the writ court by the respondent Nos.3 and 4 the writ petition was disposed of.
2. This contempt petition was taken on several dates and time to time different orders have been passed, subsequently the last show cause has been filed in which the order dated 23.08.2022 is annexed wherein it is disclosed that the petitioners have been promoted on the post of Head Clerk in the pay scale of 9300-34,800, Grade Pay 4200/- revised pay matrix Level 6.
3. The controversy on the basis of paragraph No.5 is there with regard to the promotion on the post of Accountant/Assistant. It was contended by the contemners that the Head Clerk is the next promotional post of the petitioners, these aspects of the matters are required to be looked into which can be agitated by the petitioners in a fresh proceeding, the parameters of contempt proceedings are well known.
4. In view of the above, this contempt proceeding is dropped and
disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh petition, if so advised, or may take recourse under the law.
