Mishra … for the respondents December 01, 2025 [AKB] Item No.36 The petitioner’s grievance is with respect to the alleged in action of the respondent authority to establish electricity connection in his premises for which the petitioner says that he has duly applied. The petitioner has prayed for issuance of necessary direction upon the respondent authority for immediate electricity connection in his dwelling house. The parties are represented. Mr. S.C.Mishra, learned advocate appearing for the respondent authority has submitted a report of the Assistant Engineer II (HQ) dated 22.11.2025. Let that be taken on record. He has submitted on the basis of the same, that the required infrastructure and logistic setups in the form of wiring, earthing etc. has not yet been completed by the petitioner in the concerned premises. Hence, he says that the respondent authority is not in a position to immediately grant electricity connection in the said premises. 2 Having heard both the learned advocates and perusing the report submitted on behalf of the respondent authority it is found proper to dispose of the instant writ petition with the direction that the respondent authority shall grant electricity connection in the dwelling house of the petitioner standing in government revenue land bearing survey No. 1, no sooner the requisite criteria in terms of installation of earthing and wiring are fulfilled, by the present petitioner. Let the petitioner, after completion of necessary installation of wiring and earthing, inform about the same by a written letter in connection with her application, to the respondent authority. Upon receipt of such letter, the respondent authority shall execute works for grant of connection, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such letter.
