Chakraborty, learned counsel for the opposite parties. 2. The applicant as the writ petitioner has preferred the accompanying writ petition, W.P. [C] no. 6299/2024 to assail inter-alia a show cause notice dated 21.11.2024 and the said writ petition is pending as on date. 3. The instant interlocutory application is preferred by the applicant-writ petitioner seeking correction in the name of the respondent no. 1, appearing in the cause-title of the Page No.# 3/3 accompanying writ petition, W.P.[C] no. 6299/2024. It is stated that in the accompanying writ petition, the respondent no. 1 has been mentioned as – ‘The Chairman and Managing Director, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Pandit Deendayal Urja Bhawan, 5, Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi – 110070’. It is averred that inadvertent mistake had occurred in properly mentioning the name of the respondent no. 1 in the accompanying writ petition. According to the applicant-writ petitioner, the name of the respondent no. 1 should have been read as – ‘Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited represented by The Chairman and Managing Director, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Urja Bhawan, 5, Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi – 110070’. Stating that the mistake occurred in the name of the respondent no. 1 is an inadvertent one, the instant interlocutory application is preferred. 4. In response to the instant interlocutory application, the opposite parties have filed an objection and I have gone through the statements and averments made in the said objection. 5. Having regard to the nature of correction sought for in the instant application, this Court is of the considered view that for ends of justice, the prayer made in this interlocutory application deserves to be allowed, considering the fact that no substantial prejudice is going to be caused to the opposite parties – respondents, if the prayer is allowed. The nature of the list is not going to be changed, if the prayer is allowed. Accordingly, the instant interlocutory application stand allowed. 6. The applicant-writ petitioner shall file an amended cause-title in terms of the Notification no. 79 dated 19.06.2023 before the Registry on or before 17.02.2025. On submission of such amended cause-title, the office shall carry out the necessary correction in the name of the respondent no. 1 in the cause-title of the accompanying writ petition, W.P.[C] no. 6299/2024 and also in the CIS.
