This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for granting regular bail to the petitioner namely, Bikash Kumar @ Vikash Kumar in respect of Basistha P.S. Case No.04/2025, registered under Sections 61/336(3)/340(2) of the BNS, 2023. 3. The present petitioner applied for a job in the CISF. It is alleged that he filed a forged caste certificate. 4. The petitioner has already spent 31 days in judicial custody. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 6. This Court is of the opinion that for the aforesaid allegation, the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody for any further period of time. Therefore, his bail application is allowed. 7. The petitioner Bikash Kumar @ Vikash Kumar who was arrested in respect of Basistha P.S. Case No.04/2025, registered under Sections 61/336(3)/340(2) of the BNS, 2023, shall be allowed to go on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M), Guwahati.
