The following prayers have been made in the writ petition: - "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 and 3 to provide the Shelter (Avas) and toilet to the petitioner under Government Scheme - Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Sanitization Scheme (Swachha Bharat Mission)." 2. It is submitted that the representation of the petitioner for being provided the aforesaid benefits is pending consideration before the District Magistrate and it may be directed to be decided. It is further submitted that the file is at present lying in the office of Chief Development Officer for submitting appropriate recommendation. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents do not oppose the prayer. 4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 2 to take decision in the matter after obtaining necessary reports from the concerned officials within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the representation dated 28.3.2025.
