SUDEEPTI SHARMA , J. (Oral) 1. The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 05.09.2022, passed by this Court in in CWP-19850-2022. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent contends that in compliance of order dated 05.09.2022, short reply by way of an affidavit of Mr. J. Ganesan, IAS, Chief Administrator, Housing Board Haryana, Panchkula, dated 14.11.2024 has been filed along with Annexure R-1 and R-2, which are taken on record. Para 5 of the affidavit dated 14.11.2024, is reproduced as under:- “5. That it is submitted that in compliance of order dated 05.09.2022 passed in CWP No.19850 of 2022 titled as Balwant Singh Vs Housing Board Haryana and others an amount of Rs. Rs.4,95,154/- was paid to the Petitioner vide RTGS No.3107 dated 17.11.2022 which was received back due to wrong account number and the amount of Rs. 4,95,154/ - has been re-sent in the correct account of the petitioner vide RTGS No. 246 Dated 23.01.2024. A copy of RTGS No. 246 dated 23.01.2024 is annexed herewith as Annexure R-1. Inadvertently, the interest portion as ordered was not refunded but now the same interest amount which was to be compounded annually @ 10% has been refunded as well in compliance of order dated 05.09.2022 as mentioned in para 3, to the petitioner vide RTGS No. 3346 dated 11.11.2024 is annexed herewith as Annexure R-2. Compounding interest from 01.07.2014 to 224.10.2024 i.e. for 3769 days @ 10% per annum 2,69,864/- 3. Amount paid after draw of successful applicant 2,42,000/- 4. Compounding interest from 26.03.2015 to 24.10.2024 i.e. for 3501 days @ 10% per annum 3,61,923/- 5. Total amount (1 to 4) 10,34,787/- 6. Less 10% TDS on interest amount (2 + 4) 63,179/- 7.
