JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER 21.02.2025 Heard Mr. S K Talukdar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R R Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 by petitioner, namely, Smti. Dhira Choudhury, seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Changsari P.S. Case No. 12/2025. Mr. Talukdar has submitted that in pursuant to the interim order granted in favour of the petitioner on 30.01.2025 by this Court, she has appeared before the Investigating Officer and recorded her statement. Since the petitioner has already appeared before the Investigating Officer and has been cooperating in the investigation, she does not deserve to be detained in custody. In view of the above, the interim order dated 30.01.2025 passed in favour of the petitioner by this court is made absolute. The bail application is disposed of. Case Diary shall be returned.
