Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been filed alleging non-compliance and willful disobedience of order dated 17.03.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court in CWP-7201- 2025. It is further submitted that the challenge in the main writ petition was to the advertised posts of Assistant Professor (College Cadre), in the subject of English, not being filled up. 2. Upon notice of the said petition, learned State counsel had entered appearance on behalf of the respondent and stated that the competent authority would decide the representations moved by the petitioner dated 03.01.2025, 10.01.2025 and 16.02.2025 (Annexures P-13 to P-15 therein) within a period of four weeks from the date of the receipt of the certified copy of the order, by passing an appropriate speaking order. Satisfied with the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner had consented for the writ petition to be disposed of having not pressed any further. 4. On an advance copy of the instant petition having been furnished to the learned State counsel, Ms. Akshita Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, puts in appearance on behalf of the respondents and has produced in the Court, a copy of order dated 22.05.2025, stated to be the speaking order passed in deference to the order dated 17.03.2025 (Annexure P-1). A copy thereof has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Faced with above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail her alternative remedy against the aforesaid order, in accordance with law. 6. Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
