ORDER This Bail Application is filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.13/2024 of Excise and Enforcement, Thrissur. The above case is registered against the petitioner alleging offences punishable under Sections 22(c), 29 and 60(3) the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short, the NDPS Act).
3. When this bail application came up for
consideration, the counsel for the petitioner submitted that the mother of the petitioner is seriously laid up due to cancer and she need a surgery. The counsel submitted that interim bail may be granted. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner can file an application before the jurisdictional

If such an application is filed, the jurisdictional court will consider the same after verifying the genuineness of medical records. Therefore, this bail application is disposed of with following directions:
1. The petitioner is free to file an application before the jurisdictional court for interim bail with supporting medical documents within one week from today.
2. If such an application is filed, the jurisdictional court will verify the genuineness of the documents and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible.
