JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: A. Issue a Writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned judgment and order dated 01/08/2024 in Complaint No. 253/2024 passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Dharwad, vide Annexure-B, in the interest of justice and equity. B. Issue any other order or directions as this Hon’ble court may deems fit and proper under the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. What has been challenged is an order dated 01.08.2024 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Dharwad in Complaint No.253/2024. 3. The petitioner has an alternative remedy of appeal before the Karnataka State Consumer Commission under Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
