JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ) 1. The Petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of Mandamus direction to respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 09.03.2013 and 13.05.2015 and direct to regularize the land to the petitioners and enter their names of the petitioners in RTC Form of Sy.No. 1A of Bharadi Village vide Annexure-D and E. b. To pass of such other relief in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The grievance of the petitioners is that the application which had been submitted by the petitioners under Form No.53 for regularization of their unauthorized occupation of the land has not been considered and therefore, they submitted a representation on 09.03.2013 and 13.05.2015 at Annexure-D and E series. The same also not having been considered, the petitioners are before this Court seeking for the aforesaid reliefs. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:10231 WP No. 102681 of 2025 3. Whenever any representation has been submitted by a citizen to any authority, it is required that the said Representation to be acted upon and necessary orders to be passed, either accepting or rejecting the Representation submitted in accordance with law. Needless to say, if an order of rejection is passed, the same would have to be accompanied by reasons. Neither having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. A mandamus is issued directing Respondents No.1 to 3 to consider the representations of the petitioners on 09.03.2013 and 13.05.2015 at Annexure-D and E series within a period of eight weeks’ from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
