(Oral) This petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed seeking direction to the official respondent(s) to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondent No.5 (arrayed in the petition) and to take action on his representation dated 24.05.2025 (Annexure P3). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed a representation dated 24.05.2025 (Annexure P3) before respondent No.3 raising his grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. He further submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.3, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioner and to take necessary action thereupon. 3. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 24.05.2025 (Annexure P3) of the petitioner with a period of four weeks by passing a speaking order in accordance with law. 6. Needless to say, if any threat perception is found to the petitioner, the official respondents would provide him adequate security in order to protect his life and liberty.
