By means of this bail application the applicant has prayed to be enlarged on bail in Case Crime No. 205 of 2023 at Police Station Doharighat, District-Mau under Sections 498A, 304B, 120B, 201 I.P.C. The applicant is in jail since 25.09.2023. The bail application of the applicant was rejected by this Court on 23.01.2025. The trial is on foot. Material witnesses are yet to be examined. The ordersheet also records that the applicant is not cooperating in the trial proceedings, inasmuch as, his counsel is not appearing for cross examination of witnesses thereby delaying the trial. At this stage, no fresh ground for bail is made out. Without going into the merits of the case, the bail application is dismissed. Since the trial court has already been directed to expedite the trial and to realize the intent of Section 309 Cr.P.C. in First Criminal Misc. Bail Application No.25948 of 2024, no further directions need to be issued.
