He has filed the status report by way of an affidavit of Jasyjot Singh, Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural Court today, which is taken on record. Case has been called out twice since morning. None has caused appearance on behalf of the complainant. In view of above and the entirety of facts and circumstances of the case, the interim order dated 28.05.2025 passed by this Court is made absolute, subject to the conditions as enumerated under Section BNSS, 2023 as the petitioner has joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is only being sought for on account of the offence being serious in nature. This order should not be treated as “blanket” order. It will not be read granting petitioner indefinite protection from confined to the FIR mentioned ibid and will not operate in respect of any other incident that involves commission of an offence. Liberty is reserved in favour of State/complainant to move for cancellation/recall of this order in case the petitioner violates any condition stipulated under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023 sufficient cause.
