S. No. 12 Regular IN THE HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR WP(C) 435/2023 CM(1026/2023) ASHOK KUMAR GUPTA …Petitioner(s) Through: None VS. UNION TERRITORY OF J AND K AND ANR ...RESPONDENT(S) Through: Mr. Mohammad Younis, Assisting Counsel vice Mr. Abdul Rashid Malik, Sr. AAG CORAM: HON’BLE MS JUSTICE MOKSHA KHAJURIA KAZMI, JUDGE ORDER 22.04.2025 1. Learned counsel representing the respondents submits that the instant writ petition has rendered infructuous on account of the fact that the representation, which was filed by the petitioner in terms of order dated 06.03.2023 passed by this Court, has been considered by the respondents and the claim of the petitioner has been rejected in terms of consideration order passed by the respondents dated 18.03.2023. He has further submitted that the petitioner has already challenged the consideration order by way of filing a writ petition bearing WP(C) No. 804/2023 which is pending adjudication before this Court. 2. Otherwise, nobody has appeared on behalf of the petitioner today as also on the previous date of hearing i.e., 20.12.2024 which suggests that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the case any further. 3. The writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution along with connected CM(s). 4. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.
