Nandlal S/o Late Shri Bajranglal R/o near bus stand Mukundgarh police station Nawalgarh District Jhunjhunu 2. Smt Anar Devi W/o late Shri Bajranglal R/o near bus stand Mukundgarh police station Nawalgarh, district Jhunjhhunu ----Respondent For Petitioner(s) : None Present For Respondent(s) : Mr. Shree Ram Dhakar, PP Mr. Harshit Bhatt HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRAVEER BHATNAGAR Order 16/07/2025 The instant revision petition has been preferred against the judgment dated 15.07.2006 whereby the learned trial court acquitted the respondents for the offences under Sections 498-A and 406 of IPC. None present for the petitioner. In the revision petition, it is mentioned that the learned trial court did not consider the evidence available on the record and acquitted the respondents without assigning any cogent reason. Learned Public Prosecutor and learned counsel for the respondent justified the judgment passed by learned trial court. Heard and perused the material available on the record. [2025:RJ-JP:26622] (2 of 2) [CRLR-1238/2006] Learned trial court recorded the specific finding that there is contradiction in the statement of witnesses. There is no specific date regarding demand of dowry, the independent witnesses also have not supported the prosecution story. The learned trial court has discussed the depositions of the witnesses at length and after pointing out the deficiency acquitted the respondents for the offence under Sections 498-A and 406 of IPC. I do not find any perversity or illegality in the judgment passed by the learned trial court. Accordingly, the instant criminal revision petition being devoid of any merits is hereby dismissed. All pending applications, if any, also stands disposed of. (PRAVEER BHATNAGAR),J ashu /16
