Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has questioned the order of punishment dated 12.08.2024 as well as the order passed by the appellate authority affirming the order of suspension. 3. A preliminary objection has been raised by learned Standing Counsel that the petitioner has alternative efficacious remedy to file revision before the authority under the punishment and appeal rules. 4. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage, I provide that in the event petitioner prefers a revision within a period of four weeks from today the same shall be decided on merits within a further period of two months by means of reasoned and speaking order. 5.
