Biswas, learned counsel for the petitioner Gokul Chandra Das, who has filed this application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with prayer for pre-arrest bail as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Tangla Police Station Case No. 08/20240 under 409/420 of the Page No.# 2/2 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2. Heard Ms. S. H. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent State. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he has misappropriated funds and instead of depositing funds into the account of the P.O., has siphoned off funds. 4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is a novice with computer operations. During the transaction, he took help from his juniors and this led to the anomalies. 5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the petitioner who was granted interim bail has appeared before the Investigating Officer and co- operated with the investigation. 6. I have scrutinized the Case Diary. The petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and his statements have already been recorded. 7. Investigation has progresses substantially. It appears that custodial interrogation may not be required. 8. Interim bail dated 30.01.2025, is hererby made absolute under the same terms and conditions. 9. Send back the Case Diary.
