This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer: "1) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent. no.2 to decide the mutation application which is pending before Tehsildar Basti, Case No.311 of 2024 in Mutation Application No.- T7202417650200311 under Section 34/35 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 (Vivek Singh Vs. Jugal Kishore 3 Jugal Kishore Pandey) pending since 22.12.2023, within stipulated period." It is contended that Case No.311 of 2024 (Computerized No.T7202417650200311), under section- 34/35 U.P. Land Revenue Code 2006 is pending consideration before respondent no.2. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is to expedite the aforesaid case. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondent, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no.2-Tehsildar, Tehsil- Basti Sadar, District-Basti to decide Case No.311 of 2024 (Computerized No.T7202417650200311), under section- 34/35 U.P. Land Revenue Code 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
