Mr. Sunil Kumar Singh, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is retired Air Force personnel. He is facing threat particularly from the person against whom he lodged complaint and F.I.R. dated 21st November, 2024 stood registered. He applied for security being given but respondent no.4 rejected his application on impugned order dated 14th April, 2025. He draws attention to a letter of Russian Embassy disclosed at page-38 to submit, his wife being of Russian origin, had applied for security stating threat to his life but the Embassy advised his client to approach the police. He seeks interference. Dr. Devendra Kumar Tiwari, learned advocate, Additional Chief Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State and submits, petitioner has remedy of taking his grievance to Regional Level Committee. Assessing threat perception will require inquiry on facts. We are not inclined to do so. In the circumstances, petitioner must avail of remedy available, to approach the Regional Level Committee.
