The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Radhanagar P.S. Case No. 172 of 2024, M.C.A. No.557 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 18, 21 & 29 of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Sahibganj. On 05.10.2024, Radhanagar Police intercepted a white color vehicle bearing registration No. JH 05DG-0975 near Saltipokhar, Radhanagar. On search, 930 grams of brown sugar were recovered from the said vehicle. The petitioner is the driver of the vehicle. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
