1. In the status report filed on behalf of respondent/Delhi Jal Board (DJB) on 29th January, 2026, it is stated that de-silting of the sewer line in the back side of the street has already been carried out by DJB.
2. In the subsequent affidavit filed on behalf of DJB on 7th March, 2026, it is stated that the site was inspected on 27th February, 2026 and during inspection, it was found that there is no blockage in the DJB sewer line either at the front or at the back side of the said premises.
3. Petitioner, who appears in-person, submits that the connecting sewage pipes from the house of the petitioner to the main sewer line are old and rusty and need to be replaced.
4. Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/DJB submits that there is nothing to indicate that the said connecting pipes are not operational. He has handed over photographs taken yesterday, i.e., 31st August, 2026 to This is a digitally signed order. 5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the present writ petition is

6. Liberty is given to the petitioner to take appropriate remedies in law in the event any further grievance arises after filing a complaint with the DJB.
