No. 12 of 2025 PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1 st respondent to provide adequate police protection in and around the petitioner's factory premises to ensure safe ingress and egress on Men and Material and the agitation of ex.employees/executives at the instigation of the 2 nd respondent from 09.06.2025 to 11.06.2025 is stopped 1000 meters away from the petitioners factory premises situated at Plot.No.RNS1, Renault Nissan supplier Park, Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram District-602 105. ORDER This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner/Management of JBM Auto Ltd., seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1 st respondent to provide adequate police protection in and around the petitioner's factory premises to ensure safe ingress and egress of Men and Material and the agitation of ex.employees/executives at the instigation of the 2 nd respondent from 09.06.2025 to 11.06.2025 is stopped 1000 meters away from the petitioners factory premises situated at Plot No.RNS1, Renault Nissan supplier Park, Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram District-602 105. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
WP Crl. No. 12 of 2025 2.It is seen that on earlier occasion, the petitioner management moved a writ petition with similar relief in W.P.No.4610 of 2025, wherein vide order dated 10.03.2025, this Court disposed of the said writ petition with the following observations:-
“This petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to provide adequate police protection in and around the petitioner's factory premises to ensure safe ingress and egress on men and materials. 2.It is seen that this Court by an order dated 10.02.2025, directed the first respondent to provide adequate police protection for ingress and egress of vehicles and people from in and out of the petitioner company and further vacate the trespassing workmen assembling illegally in any form within the radius of 500 meters from the petitioner's Company premises, situated at No.RNS1, Renault Nissan supplier park, Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram District-602 105. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the interim order passed by this Court has been complied with. 4.In view of the above submission, if any https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

It appears that the 2 nd petitioner has proposed to conduct agitation from 09.06.2025 to 11.06.2025 near the premises of the petitioner's factory and pursuant to the direction of this Court, the petitioner management, vide letter dated 31.05.2025, requested the 1 st respondent to provide adequate police protection in and around factory premises in order to countenance the agitation going to be conducted by the 2 nd respondent from 09.06.2025 to 11.06.2025, according to the petitioner, as there was no response, hence the petitioner has come with the present writ petition. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
WP Crl. No. 12 of 2025 4.Considering the facts and circumstances and also in view of the earlier
order passed by this Court dated 10.03.2025, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1 st respondent to consider the letter submitted by the petitioner management dated 31.05.2025 and take necessary action in the matter of giving police protection on merits and in accordance with law as per the Court order dated 10.03.2025.
